Why should we get videography? Is it too intrusive?
In retrospect, most people wish they had a wedding film to remember their day. We definitely do! Some people even choose to save it until their first wedding anniversary! Video captures so many moments that we want to remember. Your wedding day flies by in a flurry of emotions; wedding films offer an artistic, timeless playback for all the events you don't want to forget, moments you might have missed, memories of your loved ones, and something your friends and family can enjoy, especially if they couldn't be with you.

We're both proficient in cinematography and photography, and can do either as needed, though one of us will be dedicated to photo and one to film for most of the day. One of the great benefits of booking both with us is the continuity of product. We use the same type of DSLR cameras to film and photograph, and maintain a similar style in editing.

We know you're excited to see your film, or look at your pictures and revisit the Best. Day. Ever! We also want to make sure we have enough time to do our best work for you. The majority of our working hours are spent editing (we do all of our editing in-house), and when it's wedding season, we can get pretty busy. But we'll always have your highlight film to you within 30 days, and full-length films within 90 days. For photos, you'll have a sneak peek of about 20 photos within the first week, and access to your complete wedding gallery online within 45 days. You can download those right away at high resolution, and we'll also send them to you on a custom USB.

For the ceremony, we utilize a wireless mic that we place on the groom's lapel, so we can get crisp audio from the officiant, and those often whispered vows from the bride and groom. It doesn't amplify, just records directly to our cameras. For the rest of the day, we'll use on-camera mics and off-camera digital audio recorders that can be tapped into DJ/band sound systems for toasts, etc.

We sure do! Not every venue will let us fly, but most will. However, we don't fly during the ceremony, it's just too distracting. Are there any additional fees?
We're happy to travel! If your wedding is beyond a 50 mile radius from us, we'll charge a reasonable fee for gas (and lodging if needed, though it's usually not necessary).
There is also state sales tax if your wedding is taking place in NC. The rate varies by county.

Yay! To begin, give us a call or send us a message. Once we've connected and crafted your package, we'll send you a contract to read and sign online, and we'll require a $500 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, which will hold your date. You can pay by check or with a credit card, through the mail or online. The final balance is due two weeks prior to wedding day.
